Email Etiquette

Write a meaningful subject line. Helps receiver to find later Keep the message short and concise. Reader more likely to read it properly Avoid too many attachments. The email client might reject them and it looks messy Identify yourself clearly with a signature block. Be polite. You don’t know who will read this Proofread. You cannot get it back Be aware of privacy, i.e. there is none. Distinguish between formal and informal situations. Respond Promptly. Show Respect and Restraint. Sleep on things before you reply
